🐶 Cute Street Animals: Get ready for cuteness overload! The animals are super friendly and well taken care of by locals!
👨🏽🌾 Friendly Locals: The Turkish people are so incredibly kind and welcoming. In my opinion, you can tell a lot about the character of people in how they treat animals and we already covered that above 🥰
🛍️ Shop Til You Drop: Turkish towels, leather goods, handmade soaps, vintage boutique finds, carpets, lamps, spices and the list goes on!
🥘 Yummy Food: I love trying the local cuisine when I travel. Some of my favorite dishes in Turkey are Manti, Sac Tava and Gozleme
🏛️ Rich History: The historical sites in Turkey are super interesting and totally not a snooze fest – promise! I recommend visiting the ancient city of Ephesus, the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul and the Goreme Open Air museum!
🕌 Stunning Architecture: From the unique cave hotels of Cappadocia to the opulent Dolmabache Palace in Istanbul, there is certainly no shortage of stunning architecture in Turkey. They just don’t make ‘em like they used to!
🏜️ Unique Landscapes: Turkey might be the only place in the world where you can see a valley full of rock formations shaped like d*cks. I’m dead ass serious. It’s even named “Love Valley,” which is super fitting. Snaps for whoever’s idea that was.
🌊 Gorgeous Coastlines: I stayed in Kusadasi which had beautiful views of the sunset over the Aegean Sea. Soak up the sun in a seaside cabana and cool off by jumping in the refreshing sea. It’s the perfect chill day to add to your Turkey itinerary.
🥂 Poppin’ Nightlife: Gonna be real with ya – I’m more of a day drinker and be in bed by 9pm kinda gal. However, I can be convinced to go out with the gang occasionally. We had so much fun bar hopping in Istanbul and hanging out with the friendly locals!
⚡️ Epic Experiences: One of my top 3 life experiences was witnessing the 150 hot air balloons fly at sunrise in Goreme village. It was so dreamy- like something out of a movie! Whipping around on ATVs through the desert before catching the sunset was also super dope! I recommend doing both activities!
