Rome is a bustling city with beautiful, historic buildings at every turn – seriously! You can’t walk down the street without “ooooo-ing” and “ahhh-ing” at your surroundings. If you’re traveling during the peak season (May-September), be prepared for hot weather and lots of tourists. I spent 2 days in Rome which allowed me plenty of time to visit the main highlights on my list before packing up and heading off to the next city on my Italian tour!
