Seriously, if I had a dollar for everytime someone has warned me about traveling to the Middle East, I’d be able to retire. And of course, the majority of those people have never even been out of the country at all.
I’ve explored more of this part of the world than anywhere else. To be completely honest with you, I’ve felt safer traveling in some of these countries than I have in many parts of the US. The people are some of the kindest and most welcoming people you will ever meet, despite what you’ve read or seen on the news.
I encourage you to do your own unbiased research and tune out the noise from people that, respectfully, don’t know what they’re talking about and are clinging to an old, worn out stigma that isn’t true. Book the trip and go on living your life!
