Airports can be chaotic, the TSA agents are probably yelling at you and the rules are never the same at each airport you go through – I get it!

Here are some tips to make getting through TSA a little easier:

• Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that are easy to get on and off.
• Be prepared to remove your shoes (although not all airports do this)
• Wear socks – you don’t want to be barefoot on that yucky floor!
• Refrain from wearing a lot of jewelry in case you are asked to remove it.
• Have your passport and boarding pass easily accessible.
• Liquids must be 3.4oz or smaller and must fit in a quart size bag.
• Be prepared to remove your large electronics and liquids from your carry-on bag.
• Generally laptops are required to be placed in their own bin, so you’ll probably need more than one!
• Make sure your pockets are empty.

…and the most important tip of all…

LISTEN and PAY ATTENTION. 👏🏼

I see so many people in the TSA line scrolling on their phones and not paying attention. When they get up to the belt they have no idea what to take out of their bag or if they need to take their shoes off, which usually causes TSA agents to get annoyed and the line to move slowly. The TSA agents are usually very vocal and constantly yelling out instructions – so listen up, follow their directions and you’ll be good to go love. 🙂
